Desde la zona del Valle del Ródano, Francia, les recomiendo a este vino Côtes du Rhône Rouge 2015, el cual me ha gustado muchísimo, representando el verdadero paladar de la zona.
Dicha zona se la divide en dos : Norte y Sur, dependiendo su terroir (montañas llamadas macizos y un clima continental y mediterráneo) de la influencia del viento Mistral que sopla frío y seco, causando humedad o sequedad influyendo en la vid. A pesar que es una zona de prestigio por su syrah, se cultivan otras cepas también.
En esta oportunidad, este vino presenta un 80% de Syrah y un 20% de Garnacha.
Presenta un color oscuro y profundo. En la nariz se aprecia la tipicidad de la Syrah. Frutos rojos, regaliz y violetas. Es un assemblage muy aromático y especiado. Lo califico como redondo y muy elegante. Un vino que invita a ser tomado para disfrutarlo plenamente; y único, en cuanto a su expresión.
En 1835 Charles Audibert y Philippe Delas compraron la bodega de un comerciante, en la región de Tournon-sur-Rhône. En la época la bodega, conocida hoy como Delas Frères, era llamada Audibert y Delas. En 1924, los dos hijos de Philippe asumieron los negocios y cambiaron su nombre. El crecimiento de la empresa se dio con la expansión de los viñedos de Hermitage y con la compra de nuevos viñedos en Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côte-Rhôtie y Condrieu, hasta que se convirtiera en una de las mayores bodegas del norte del Rhône
